About Me

I trained at University College London (BSc (Hons) Speech Sciences, First class) and have spent my career developing deep expertise at the intersection of hearing loss, speech and communication. After graduating, I joined the auditory verbal therapy community, going on to complete postgraduate training (PGDipAVT, Aston University) and earn my LSLS Cert. AVT — an internationally recognised qualification held by a small number of practitioners worldwide.

Over more than fifteen years, I have built a reputation as both a skilled clinician and a trusted educator. I have held senior clinical leadership roles, guided quality assurance programmes, and regularly deliver training and lectures to parents and professionals across the UK and internationally. I am experienced in mentoring other therapists and educators on their path to LSLS certification.

Alongside my auditory verbal therapy practice, I have trained in PROMPT — a specialist approach to assessing and treating children whose speech difficulties stem from difficulties with the physical coordination of the mouth and speech muscles.

In 2015, I was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, which took me to auditory verbal therapy centres in Australia and New Zealand — an experience that deepened my understanding of international approaches to supporting children with hearing loss.

I now offer independent practice, bringing this breadth of experience directly to families and professionals in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and online.
